Professional

Richard is interested in creating scalable solutions for technology. During his freshman summer, he interned as a software engineer at Niantic as part of its augmented reality developer portal. He returned to Niantic in his sophomore summer to build part of a social platform connecting Pokémon Go players during the annual Go Fest. His professional interests span full-stack development, machine learning, and entrepreneurship.

Cornell

Outside of AKPsi, Richard is a software developer for Cornell Digital Technology & Innovation (DTI) project team, as well TA'ing CIS courses including Machine Learning (CS 4780). Additionally, he is one of the Corporate Team Leads for the Association of Computer Science Undergraduates (ACSU) and is also involved with Club Tennis.

Personal

In his free time, Richard enjoys playing tennis with friends and going to the gym. He also enjoys trying new restaurants and exploring nature.
