During his freshman summer, Alex Theroux worked in Business Development for the Aligned Dental Partners, a Dental Service Organization (DSO) consulting and finance firm. On the team he assisted two DSOs, EPIC4 Specialty Partners LLC and California Dental Partners, in rolling up their practices and preparing them for a Private Equity capital event. Additionally, he built slide decks and presented to practices once a letter of intent was formulated.

Cornell

On campus, Alex Theroux is an AKPsi Webmaster. Additionally, he is a member of several clubs on campus, such as Cornell Investment Banking Club, Dyson Undergraduate Council, Cayuga Capital, Cornell Outing Club, and the Cornell Astronomical Society. This year he is also working under the Dyson Dean of Students as a Student Administrative Assistant.

Personal

Alex Theroux is the founder of the charitable organization TOgether Project LLC. This organization strives to put smiles on peoples’ faces (both metaphorically and literally) by providing 10 sets of free braces to underserved youth populations in Colorado. In exchange for braces, each recipient designs and implements their own Pay It Forward project consisting of a 40 hour long community service program of their choosing. Additionally, Alex is the founder of the 3D-printing dental lab THX3-D Lab, which provides lab services to over 20 orthodontists in Colorado.

Outside of these organizations, Alex enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking, SCUBA diving, video games, and glassblowing.
